Formal meeting on the occasion of 72nd Anniversary of the Liberation of the Nazi German Concentration Camp in Auschwitz- Birkenau - Part IIIgor Gościński1 Introduction Ladies and Gentlemen, in relation to the formal meeting organized by the Jagiellonian University, Cracow Medical Society (pol. Towarzystwo Lekarskie Krakowskie, TLK) and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi German Concentration Camp in Auschwitz-Birkenau, one needs to point to the fact that TLK since 1961 is involved and discusses problems concerning Nazi extermination camps. In the years 1961-1991 TLK published materials known colloquially as “Auschwitz brochures” or more precisely Medical Review – Auschwitz / Przegląd Lekarski – Oświęcim (the proper name “Zeszyty Oświęcimskie” is reserved for the publication of Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum). More information may be found on the following website: http://www.tlk.cm-uj.krakow.pl/wydawnictwo.html as well as on the dedicated site: https://www.mp.pl/auschwitz/ [1, 2]. Our main objective is remembrance, warning for future generations and reconciliation. This is part II of the film recorded by Cracow Medical Society during the formal meeting on the occasion of the 72nd Anniversary of the Liberation of the Nazi German concentration camp in Auschwitz-Birkenau, with many honourable guests attending. In order to make it available to a wider international audience, we have split the recording into few parts, which were published successively but with the English subtitles. The entire film may be seen on the official WJOMI YouTube channel here: https://youtu.be/WuC0gKqcyDQ Figure 1.
